The Thinker
In love, you are honest and serious about commitment. For you, sex is something you think about and desire a lot of the time.
Overall, you are pure in your affection and feelings. However, you tend to be suspicious and distrusting at times.

| | somber | ] | Today I received a text message from a friend of mine, "I'm just letting everyone know that I'm going to Iraq in June." I've always been against this war, but now its become more personal. I can't help but think the worst will happen.

| | ecstatic | ] | I finally go a camera of my very own! This has been in the making since last May. So in total I have a Canon 30D, a 24mm lens, the 18-55 that came with the camera and a 430 Canon Flash! Oh yeah, and a great bag that was on super special for $40! (usually about $100-$140) Also, I think due to my squirrliness/giddiness the salesman gave me $10 off my 24mm! So the total damage was $1,955.55, that's $45 less then my limit. Afterward Nick and I made a quick trip to Urban Outfitters where I exchanged some Christmas presents for my brothers, then we had a delightful lunch at Panera and finally we played with a conure at Petco and headed back to my apartment where I've been playing with my camera's settings for the last few hours. Such a great day!
p.s. Pictures of gear to follow sometime soon. |

| | grateful | ] | Today after my art history class I was walking back to Collins when about half way through Woodlawn field I realized how fleeting my time here really is. I'm not sure where I'll be at this time next year, but I'm sure it's not going to be Bloomington. I became sad and nostalgic of the days when I rode the campus bus back to Forest past Collins counting the days until I would live there. I must say I love Bloomington and Collins, I have considered these places home for the last 5 years. I will treasure the people I have met in the last 5 years for the rest of my life. While thinking these things, among many other thoughts, and admiring the evening light's play with the fall leaves I crossed into the Collins courtyard and that's when I saw a figure run towards me with arms full of leaves with my name all over them. What followed was a swirling mass of leaves and human limbs. I know incriminating pictures were taken, and since my face was covered for most of them maybe a decent photo of me exists now, one where I don't look stoned.
Anyway, rolling around on the ground covered with leaves was just what I needed while addressing such things. So thanks.

| | bored | ] | So the results of the mozzarella are quite disturbing. Basically I dreamed that I was paddling down a river of decomposing bodies with entrails dangling from the tree canopy. Oh yeah, creepy as all hell. The results of this test could have to do with the fact that I watched the movie Xtro before going to bed. It's a bizarre English horror film which prides itself on utilizing the gross out factor to the nth degree. Check it out on imdb. Anyway, undaunted the tests continue! Tonight, cheddar. Which, according to the test, has been known to elicit dreams about celebrities. |

| | so very tired | ] | So from time to time I like to google myself and see what comes up. According to Google, I'm busy reviewing CD's in my free time.
"4 out of 5 stars A great CD to get you going in the morning. Reviewer: Ann Rebeck This CD is a rare gem. Its rhythms keep you listening and eventually you too will be tapping on anything around. Need something to get you going in the morning? This CD will do it. Perhaps you are just stressed out like most of us and need something to pop in and just chill out to. This CD is great for both. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone with a love for rhythm and beat!"
Apparently I enjoyed the Ethos Percussion Groups latest CD. Keep up the good work boys!
And on a separate note, tonight's cheese is mozzarella. |

| | the Wallice and Gromit theme | ] | So receintly Nick told me about a study regarding the effects of cheese on dreams. Apparently if you eat certain kinds of cheeses before sleeping you will have dreams of varying weirdness. I tried it out with a couple nights of parmesan, the kind that comes in a block not the powdery shit, and the with blue cheese. The study concluded that blue cheese and stilton elicited the craziest dreams. So far it's not looking so good for the blue cheese, but I will continue to use myself as a guinea pig and post my findings here. Waiting in my refrigerator are mozzarella, blue cheese, parmesan and sharp cheddar. |

| | excited | ] | So I have managed to secure a job for the rest of the summer with the Journal and Courier making $10 an hour for 30 hours a week. That means I can quit my mowing job at the state park and finally have some time off. (Tomorrow will be my first day off in over a month.) Yay for me! |
